#3: Be the Historic Preservationist

Background for the Educator: For this activity, students have the opportunity to pull together all that they have learned about building parts, materials, and architecture styles. Now students can use their observation skills to study a building using a survey form, as a historic preservationist would. The survey form created for this activity is modeled strongly off of the Vermont Department for Historic Preservation’s survey form for historic buildings.
