Join members of the Board of Preservation Burlington for a walking/talking tour of Lakeview Cemetery, which will take place rain or shine at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2. A $10 suggested donation would be much appreciated, and cider and donuts will be offered to participants. Seasonal Preservation Burlington hoodies and winter caps will be on sale. The tour will begin at the Louisa Howard Chapel. Among those buried at Lakeview are Civil War Generals O.O. Howard, William H. Henry, William Wells, and George J. Stannard. State Governors Urban Woodley and Harold J. Arthur are also interred there, as are a number of Burlington’s former mayors.
