The INSTITUTIONAL AWARD is presented in recognition of significant renovation or restoration work completed on an institutional (civic, educational, or religious) property, within Burlington city limits, in the last three years.

In 2024 Preservation Burlington gave three awards in this category. One of these is to the City of Burlington for its restoration and renovation of the Redstone Cottage in what is now Kieslich Park on North Avenue.
