A Date With History
This year’s A Date With History will take place on April 4th, 7pm at the Pine Street Art Works Gallery!Â
Preservation Burlington is hosting its annual Date With History event. This exciting event has a dual purpose spolighting Burlington’s rich cultural and architectural heritage, while providing a social event for our members, volunteers, and the public. This year we are delighted to be holding the event at Pine Street Art Works, located in a historically industrial section of the City. There will be an art exhibit, historic photo slide show, silent auction, food, and drink.
This year’s Date With History will coincide with our Annual Meeting, where we will be giving our 2008 Preservation Awards to worthy restoration projects in the categories of residential, commercial, and institutional. We also will be giving the Ray O’Connor Award to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of our community life. The Annual Meeting will begin at 8:30 and end at 9:00.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $2o at the door. If you would like to purchase your tickets in advance, please send a check to:
