Volunteer

For a decade now, Preservation Burlington has strived to preserve and protect the historic architecture and livability of Burlington.  We are a strong advocate of preservation policy, livable neighborhoods, and preservation education.  Among other things, our accomplishments include: preserving the Varney House at 76 Cherry Street, Henry’s Diner, and the Captain White House; passing the “four unrelated adult” ordinance to help bring families back to historic neighborhoods in the core of the city; and recognizing restoration projects in the city with yearly preservation awards.

All of these things could not have been done without the tremendous support of our members and volunteers.  Volunteers for our Tours and Programs are integral to the success of the event.  If you are interested in volunteering for Preservation Burlington, please fill out the Volunteer Application below.  You may e-mail it to board@preservationburlington.org or mail it to P.O. Box 481, Burlington, VT 05402.
